Terms of Service
Last updated: June 6, 2026
The service
Lappice provides account, billing, and website services for askYoutube, a browser extension that helps you send YouTube transcripts to AI assistants you already use. The AI interaction happens in your own browser session with your chosen provider, subject to that provider's terms.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account and billing information and only use Lappice and askYoutube if you are allowed to do so under applicable law.
Plans & billing
The Free plan includes a daily question limit. Pro ($5.99/month or $59.90/year) removes that limit. Annual billing gives 12 months for the price of 10. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout.
Acceptable use
Don't use Lappice or askYoutube to violate YouTube's terms, an AI provider's terms, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, security controls, or applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or create operational, legal, or security risk.
Third-party services
askYoutube works with third-party websites and services including YouTube, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, Stripe, and authentication providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, content, policies, or results.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of Lappice or askYoutube after an update means you accept the updated terms.
